Roses are red, violets are blue, The Blossom Shop deliveries are coming to you.
Since the 1980s The Blossom Shop has been spreading the love on Valentine's Day; making deliveries and making smiles.
Melodie Sevits, owner of The Blossom Shop tells us Valentine's Day is the busiest day of the year for her business.
"We are really busy. We have been swamped with orders. We were pretty caught up until this morning but we have gotten several more today and we are just swamped."
KTVO went along with a few deliveries and one lady was surprised.
"I thought it was sweet of him. He's a friend of ours and he's not feeling well anymore and we've been doing things for him, taking him to the store and to the doctor."
In order to spread the love, The Blossom Shop has to put in hard work.
"We made 250 tickets earlier and we were out of the tickets. I can't tell you the exact number, but we are very busy," Sevits said.
She tells us they began ordering flowers and other valentines novelties two to three months ahead of time.
"We order our flowers--a lot of the flowers-- the roses come from South America which is interesting to some people," Sevits said. The owners of The Blosson Shop say Valentine's Day, is always very busy, but also very rewarding.
