Former Moulton EMS treasurer accused of embezzling $22k
MOULTON, Iowa —
A former EMS Treasurer in Moulton, Iowa is accused of embezzling more than $22,000.
Kimberly R. Horn, 44, of Moulton, was arrested and charged Monday morning with First-Degree Theft, a Class C Felony.
Deputies say the money was stolen sometime between 2007 and October of 2015, while Horn was the treasurer for Moulton EMS Incorporated.
Horn was taken to the Appanoose County Jail Monday, where she posted bond and was released shortly after.
The Appanoose County Sheriff’s Office wants to remind you: Anyone accused of a crime is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. If convicted as charged, Horn could face up to 10 years in prison.
