Students from Milan C-2 schools and Green Hills Head Start were evacuated at 8:10 a.m. Friday due to a potential bomb threat.
Students were relocated to the nearby bus barn to wait for parent pick-up.
All students and staff have been dissmised for the remainder of the school day.
This statement was released from Superintendent Kim Johnson regarding the situation:
??Milan C-2 students and staff were evacuated today (Friday) at approximately 8:10am as a precautionary measure due to a potential bomb threat. We are extremely grateful for the quick response and the professionalism by the district, staff and local law enforcement. We appreciated parent cooperation during this situation. Due to an ongoing investigation, the students and staff were dismissed for the day.??
