For the next two weeks, the Friends of the Bloomfield Public Library are holding a used book sale.
The book sale kicked off Saturday morning at their facility on 402 E. North St. People with the Friends of the Library say they have had a great turnout on their first day with over 50 people coming through and buying whatever their hearts desire for a low price. Magazines are up for sale for 25 cents, paperback books are 50 cents and hardcover books are $1.
??It's a great place to get a lot of books much cheaper than lots of other places, and we have a lot of really good choices,?? Beverly Guinn, Member of Friends of the Library, said.
All proceeds go to the Friends of the Library in Bloomfield. They are looking to expand their building and make it handicap accessible. The book sale goes for the next two weeks on Mondays through Saturdays from 9a.m. to 5 p.m. They are not open on Sundays. The used book sale will wrap up on July 20th.
