Kirksville residents got the chance to get rid of leftover hazardous waste.
The City of Kirksville held a Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Saturday morning at the Public Works Office on north Osteopathy.
People just simply drove up and dropped off materials to be properly disposed of.
Some of the items included aerosols, antifreeze, batteries, cleaners, paints, oils, light bulbs, insecticides and pesticides.
If you weren't able to make it to Saturday's collection, there is another one coming up on April 27. The city is accepting drop off appointments. Citizens can call Kirksville Public Works at (660) 627-1291 to schedule an appointment.
