Girl Scout cookies are here in the Heartland
Girl Scout cookies have arrived in the Heartland.
After a month and a half of making orders, a truck load of the famous cookies arrived at the Crossing Church in Kirksville early Wednesday morning.
Even though cookie sales are down a bit this year, the troop says they are optimistic about reaching this year's goal of selling 2,500 boxes.
"I think it's the variety of cookies we have. We got the thin mints, the caramel delights and the samoas. The most popular cookies that Girl Scouts have to offer," said Girl Scout Product Manager LeAnna Lewis.
The girl scouts will be getting the cookies over the next few days and will be making their deliveries this weekend.
If you haven't submitted your orders yet...don't worry. Cookies will be on sale through March 16.
Cookie booths will also be set up at various locations throughout Kirksville over the next few weekends.
