A local hospital will be receiving some new items, all thanks to a craft show.
Auxiliary members of the Good Samaritan Hospital in Macon held a craft show for the first time ever. Multiple vendors selling different items from bows to quilts were available. A bake sale was also available for shoppers to pick up some treats.
"All of the proceeds go to the Samaritan Hospital Auxiliary, and then we turn around and benefit the hospital by buying different things for different departments here at the hospital" said Marilyn Stroppel, President of the Samaritan Hospital Auxiliary.
Auxiliary members plan to have another craft show either next fall or in the spring, due to the success of today's sale.
