It was a great Fourth of July holiday for one popular Heartland fireworks business.
Fireworks Land in Lancaster had a spectacular season during the last few weeks for the Fourth of July season.
Sales this year were way better than previous years due to the drought and the economy.
The business had customers come from all over including Iowa, Minnsota and Wisconsin to buy fireworks and help them have a happy Fourth of July.
"It's always is a good year. We've got customers from coast to coast. It was very busy. Nice little jolt over the Fourth. I'm open March 1st through the middle of September, but it's a busy time for all stands here. We had a really good year," said Fireworks Land Owner Rani Dentler.
Dentler says that she thanks and appreciates her customers very much.
The most popular items this year were cakes, sparklers, kids fireworks and nine shot racks.
