Health Exploration Camp a hands-on experience for campers

Tuesday was all about the 3rd and 4th graders at IHCC for its Health Exploration Day, giving the kids a chance to perform experiments related to healthcare and the biological sciences.

The kids were fascinated with what a healthy humanâ??s lungs should look like and also with what a smokerâ??s lungs would look like and how it can negatively affect your health.

The kids also learned about the proper length of time to wash your hands to get rids of all germs.

â??I liked the whole thing. Itâ??s a really good experience,â?? said Alex Babcock, camper.

"I like going under the light and seeing the germs on our hands,â?? said Maleah Wright, camper.

The interactive day proved to be very education and fun for the campers.
