A Washington, Iowa man has pleaded guilty to sexual abuse charges.

Online court records indicate that Joshua Wade Hendricks, 37, pleaded guilty to one count of Sexual Abuse in the Third Degree on December 10 in Jefferson County.

Sexual Abuse in the Third Degree is a Class "C" felony and carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.

Hendricks was originally arrested in December of 2011. At that time he was charged with five counts of Sexual Abuse in the Third Degree and one "B" felony count of Second Degree Sexual Abuse.
