Heartland woman's van stolen from Wal-Mart parking lot


Kirksville police have released still pictures of the persons of interest in the theft of a van from the Kirksville Wal-mart parking lot. Police say the came into the Wal-mart lot from Highway 6 West and left traveling west on Highway 6. A Heartland woman gets the shock of her life after a recent shopping trip.

The woman visited Wal-Mart in Kirksville Saturday evening. She said was in the store for two hours shopping, and when she returned to the parking lot, her 2002 Dodge Caravan was no where to be found.

Kirksville Police said the vehicle was stolen from the parking lot around 9 p.m., June 9. They said the victim left the vehicle unlocked, with the keys in it.
