One Kirksville Middle School student is hoping to travel to Washington D. C. to represent Missouri in a National History Day competition.Lauren Kramer started working on her website around the start of the school year. She won both her regional and state competitions which will allow her to compete in a national competition coming up June 9th through the 13th. The website is titled â??Dust to Diamonds to Dust: William P. Hallâ?? which focuses on the life of the Schuyler county native.

â??The website covers William Preston Hall's life and he was basically an orphan that grew up to have this big multi media horse business and then later on in his life, he took a chance and bought a circus,â?? said Lauren Kramer, 7th grade state champion.
