High school students attend FBLA conference
KIRKSVILLE, MO. —
Three Kirksville High School students attended the National FBLA Conference this past weekend.
The conference was held in St. Louis, Mo.
FBLA stands for Future Business Leaders of America.
FBLA is a club available for all high school students interested in the business field in the Kirksville area.
Members in the club participate in state level competitive events and those who qualify are able to attend national leadership conferences.
Superintendent of Kirksville Public Schools Damon Kizzire says national conferences are a great opportunity for heartland students.
“They all have worked very hard to qualify for this event. Realize that there are state events as well as national events and these guys have qualified already through the state level and will be going onto the national conference.”
