HOGS4DOGS USA host second annual K9 Clinic for area pets

With the mission of promoting the health and well-being of animals, HOGS4DOGS USA is hosting a one-stop shop for your furry friend.

On Saturday, February 22, HOGS4DOGS will host their second annual K9 Clinic. Dog owners can take their pets in for everything they need, including vaccinations, micro chipping and city tags.

"It's really important for all your animals to get their vaccinations, just to prevent any kind of illnesses or disease, especially the rabies," said HOGS4DOGS Founder Tammie Hartley. "You do have to have the rabies in order to get a city tag, if you didn't know that. It's just for the health and well-being of your pet. Be a responsible pet owner!"

This year, HOGS4DOGS will also be handing out $50 vouchers for spay and neuter services for any animal that gets vaccinated at the clinic. Those vouchers will be honored at Thomas Vet Clinic and Pipestone Vet Services. Grooming services will also be offered, as well as photography so you can have a good picture of your dog in case he or she is ever lost.

The K9 Clinic will be from noon until 4 p.m. at the Elks Lodge at 413 South Iowa Street in Ottumwa. There will be a donation bucket available for free-will donations to HOGS4DOGS USA.
