Hollister workers honored
Hollister held a celebration for its 2013 Service Awards in Kirksville.
Hollister Inc. has been in Kirksville for decades, and many of their employees have been with the Kirksville plant since the beginning. Twenty-one employees were honored for their service-which ranged from 5 years to 45 years. The total years of service for the 21 employees is 630 combined years.
Some of the individuals honored in the May celebration included: Floyd Ellsworth-45 years; Gale Rusk, Shirley Wurtzberger, Debbie Snowbarger, Betty Morris, Mark Blacksmith, Rick Novinger, John Williams, Janet Williams, Jolene Curtis, Debbie Applegate, Susie Branscom and Vickie Combsâ??all 40 years of service. Those with 20 years of service included: Gary Cripe, Denise Thudium and Peggy Daniels. Jim Stitzer and Thom Bahr each had 15 years of service; and John Cummings, Paul Emmerich and Gordon â??Buddyâ?? Huff each had 5 years. Joining in the celebration for the company headquarters in Libertyville, Ill., were Bob Crowe, Peter Sparacio and Bill Ciehanski.
