Honeycutt-Blocker faces 19 additional sex charges
OTTUMWA, Iowa —
An Ottumwa man convicted of lascivious acts with a child is now facing 19 additional sex charges.
Tryston Honeycutt-Blocker, 27, was arrested Tuesday after police say he kept a collection of child pornography on his hard drive.
Honeycutt-Blocker is facing 19 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.
Online court documents show Honeycutt-Blocker knowingly possessed hundreds of visual and video depictions of minors having sex.
He was arrested and charged last year with second degree sexual abuse, in connection to a 2010 sexual assault.
The victim was eight years old.
The criminal complaint adds that Honeycutt-Blocker admitted to committing a sex act on the same eight-year-old around the time he was downloading the child pornography.
In February, he dodged a 25-year sentence by pleading guilty to Lascivious Acts with a Child, Inflicting Pain or Discomfort.
He received a suspended sentence of five years.
Lt. Chad Farrington with the Ottumwa Police Department said the new charges are aggravated misdemeanors, which can hold a maximum penalty of up to 2 years for each count.
