House of Grim offers a history of haunting

Heartland residents took some time this Halloween to stop at a special haunted house that has a history of hauntings.
Grim Residence Hall at Truman State University held its second annual â??House of Grimâ?? haunted house Thursday night.
After signing a waiver, small groups wound through the hall on a special tour meant to scare their socks off.
Participants were told that rumor has it that two ghosts inhabit the premises, and they may or may not make an appearance on the tour.
Whether or not you believe in ghosts, The House of Grim offers a frightfully good time.
â??We really, really try to scare people, and thatâ??s our number one thing,â?? said Matthew Matheney, a tour guide at the House of Grim. â??We have two ghosts that have been seen, and they play a part in the haunted house. Charlotte is one of them and Max. Max was a little boy and Charlotte was a nursing student.â??
Two thirds of the proceeds from tonight's haunted house will benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation and the Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri.
