The City of Kirksville is currently accepting appointments for the collection of Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) on Saturday, October 26, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. This is the final collection to be held in 2013, and the facility will close until April 2014. The program is limited to household waste from citizens who live within the City limits and does not include disposal of any commercial hazardous waste.
Citizens must call the Public Works Complex at 660-627-1291 to schedule their appointments. Scheduled drop off appointments are required to ensure that qualified staff are available to assist citizens with disposal of eligible items. This facility is housed at the Public Works Complex, located at 2001 N. Osteopathy.
