This week is the Kauffman Foundationâ??s celebration of entrepreneurship.
The foundation promotes this week in 115 countries. Its goal is to promote, inspire and recognize entrepreneurship.
Indian Hills Community College has chosen Tuesday as their day to celebrate.
It will be a full day starting with a breakfast with the Ottumwa Chamber of Commerce to discuss everything they are doing within the community.
The winner of the Bright Idea Contest and $500 will also be announced tomorrow.
â??Actually at Indian Hills Iâ??ve been really surprised at the number of students that already have a business that they just don't even realize they do. They'll say 'oh I just kind of do those on the sideâ?? but in actuality they are running a business or are earning an income. And we had a great response to our Bright Idea Contest so we had a lot of potential business ideas to choose from and Iâ??m really excited about our winner,â?? said Kelly Poppe-Gale, RELI Coordinator.
The Indian Hills Entrepreneur Organization will also be featuring the Full Sea Production staff to showcase their Busterball game app. that will be launched in January.
