Indian Hills to hold electronics recycling drive

Indian Hills Community College is seek your unwanted electronics to donate to Goodwill.

Next Monday through Thursday, Goodwill will have a semi-trailer set up on the Indian Hills campus to accept donations.

"They're going to put it out in the south parking lot near the softball field," said Nathaniel Andersen who help set up the event. "It's going to be a big trailer. We're going to have people put all their electronics in it--things that they aren't really sure how to get rid of and don't need anymore."

These tough to dispose of items include monitors, keyboards, mouses, and servers.

Televisions, however, will not be accepted.

There will be a list of items that won't be accepted posted at the site of the trailer.

For the most part, if it's electronic it will be taken.

This is an annual event the college puts on, and this year's collection coincides with Earth Day and the college's recycling efforts.

Items will be collected from 8 am to 2:30 pm April 21st through April 24th.
