      Indictment for alleged possession of child porn

      A Macon, Missouri man has been indicted on charges involving his alleged possession of child pornography in December 2010. Billie J. Spaid, 35, was indicted by a federal grand jury Wednesday on two felony counts of possession of child pornography.If Spaid is convicted, each count of the indictment carries a maximum penalty of ten years in prison and/or fines up to $250,000.

      The case was investigated by the Kirksville Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Macon Police Department and the Kirksville Regional Computer Crime Unit.Information provided by the United States Attorney's Office Eastern District of Missouri
