      Iowa Secretary of State pays visit to Ottumwa Rotary Club

      Iowa Secretary of State Matt Schultz paid a visit to the Ottumwa Rotary Club meeting on Tuesday.

      He attended a luncheon held at the Hotel Ottumwa ballroom, where he spoke to the Rotary Club's members. He talked about the Honor a Veteran Program, which allows people to honor sacrifices veterans have made to protect our freedom and right to vote.He also spoke about the Rock Iowa Education Program and all that the Secretary of State's Office is doing to help Iowa businesses.

      â??We just want people to know we're working hard and we're working hard for businesses,â?? Schultz said. â??Obviously the Secretary of State's Office receiving all the business fillings in the state, so we're going to be talking about some of the things we're doing there, but also always to remember to get out and vote. We have city elections coming up here in November, so don't forget to vote.â??
