The fun of summer fairs continued into Jefferson County.
The County Fair kicked off on the 25th and will run until the 30th. There, visitors were able to take in a magic show and ride carnival ride favorite.
Family members of all ages were also able to ride roller coasters, Ferris wheels, and enjoy cotton candy and fried Jell-O. However, when riding some of those rides, it's important to always wear proper foot-wear, especially on the roller coaster.
"A friend of mine, his sandals fell off when he was riding the roller coaster, so we were looking for that. Plus, it's cool here. I like it.
Tomorrow night beginning at 7 p.m. is the Demo Derby in the Grandstands. After the Derby, the night will conclude with fireworks. The Jefferson County Fair will come to an end on Monday afternoon after the 4-H and FFA Livestock Sale.
