James Bugg is charged with one count of possession of child pornography.

A north central Missouri man is in custody after an investigation that included the efforts of the Kirksville Regional Cyber Crimes Task Force.

James Bugg, 54, of Moberly, is charged with one felony count of possession of child pornography.

During a May 13th search of Bugg's home in the 700 block of North Ault Street in Moberly, investigators said they found that Bugg had a large quantity of child porn videos in his possession.

They said the videos on Bugg's computer involved children as young as 2 and 3 years old.

The suspect was not home at the time the search warrant was served.

Later in the day on May 13, Bugg met investigators at the Moberly Police Department where he was arrested.

The suspect is being held on $50,000 bond.

The case was investigated by the Boone County Sheriff's Office Cyber Crimes Task Force, Moberly Police Department, Randolph County Sheriff's Department and the Kirksville Cyber Crimes Task Force.
