The Kirksville Aquatic Center will be celebrating its 15th birthday on Thursday, June 19th.
At 3 p.m. next Thursday, there will be a balloon release game with a free, one-year pool pass as the prize.
Starting at 4 p.m., birthday cake will be served, and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., admission will be discounted to $3.50 per person.
The aquatic center will open at 1 p.m. next Thursday.
Recreation Specialist, Robin Harden, says the Aquatic Center Staff is preparing for a good time.
â??We're going to have a 15th birthday party for the pool. Itâ??s been open 15 years on Thursday, the 19th. Weâ??re going to have activities all day long. Weâ??ve got prizes for the first fifty people who come in the door. Weâ??re going to be doing a balloon race for a free pool pass. Weâ??re also going to be having birthday cake because that's what you need every birthday party and discounted admissions starting at 5 p.m." said Harden.
