The Kirksville Area Chamber of Commerce held its 18th Annual Golf Outing Friday at the Kirksville Country Club.
Executive Director Sandra Williams said the turnout has been great this year and with temperatures in the 70s, the weather couldn't be better.
"It's a really good, win-win situation because we get to have our businesses out here sponsoring holes. They get some exposure and our members get to come out and have a day out of the office and have a lot of fun," said Sandra Williams, Executive Director of the Kirksville Area Chamber of Commerce. "So, it's good for everybody."
32 teams competed, and there were more than 30 sponsors who advertised their goods and services at each hole.
On the 10th hole, we witnessed Lathan Findling, from Sonny's Collision Center, get a birdie.
"Just having a great day with some good friends, and my dad, and having a good time out here at the Kirksville Country Club," said Findling.
If anyone is lucky enough to get a hole-in-one on the seventh hole, they get the chance to take home a brand new car.
The proceeds from the golf outing benefit the Kirksville Area Chamber of Commerce and its initiatives.
