Kirksville crash halts traffic
KIRKSVILLE, Mo. —
Kirksville Police and Fire Department were called to the scene of a two-vehicle collision Monday around 1 p.m. on New and King Street.
A police officer at the scene said an SUV was stopped, waiting to turn onto New Street.
The driver of the second car did not realize the SUV had stopped and struck it from behind, causing traffic to temporarily slow down while officers assessed the scene.
The front of the second car suffered extensive damages.
There were no injuries reported from either party.
