Kirksville man injured after motorcycle collides with car

A motorcyclist suffered moderate injuries after his motorcycle and a car collided early this afternoon in Kirksville.
Wed, 21 Aug 2013 00:15:35 GMT — A motorcyclist suffered moderate injuries after his motorcycle and a car collided early Tuesday afternoon in Kirksville. The crash happened close to 1:00 Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Baltimore and LaHarpe Streets. Police officers told us it appeared that the car driven by Beverly Kitts, 82, of Kirksville was attempting to make a left turn onto LaHarpe from Baltimore when it was struck in the driver's side by the motorcycle operated by Donald Craig, 52, of Kirksville. Police officers had to direct traffic around the scene for awhile. Craig was transported to the hospital with moderate injuries. Kitts was not hurt.
