Kirksville Police seek help identifying theft suspects

UPDATE: On April 24, 2014 the Kirksville Police Department released photos of five suspects involved in two separate thefts from Wal-Mart. After receiving an almost immediate response from the public, including several calls from Southern Iowa, the Kirksville Police Department is pleased to announce that the three female and two male suspects in the two cases have been identified and are facing criminal charges.

KPD would like to thank all of those who provided information in the cases.


The Kirksville Police Department is asking for the publicâ??s assistance in identifying five suspects in two separate thefts from Wal-Mart.

The first theft case involves a white male suspect driving what appears to be a black Chevy truck.

The second case involves three white female suspects and a white male suspect driving what appears to be a silver or gold colored Dodge Dynasty.

Anyone who believes they have information that could assist in identifying the suspects are encouraged to contact Officer Tyler Van Riessen or Detective Justin Jones with the Kirksville Police Department.
