Kirksville suspect caught with drugs, stolen mail
KIRKSVILLE, Mo. —
A northeast Missouri man accused of stealing mail is facing several charges.
Andrew Walker-Bullock of Kirksville was charged Thursday.
According to online court documents, he was found in possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and stealing.
Kirksville Police say they received a tip about the suspect taking items out of mailboxes.
When stopped by authorities, the suspect was carrying a box with mail inside.
He was also found with a number of syringes and a brown liquid substance.
That substance later tested positive for methamphetamine.
Walker-Bullock is currently being held in the Adair County Jail on $10,000 cash-only bond.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. Wednesday.
