Kirksville's gas prices among highest in the state

The current statewide average in Missouri is $3.50 per gallon, while the price in Kirksville is standing at $3.59. Just 90 miles to the south, in Columbia, you can find gasoline as low as $3.39 per gallon. As a matter of fact, the price in Kirksville is just two cents below the national average. In Iowa, the statewide average fell seven cents per gallon last week, to an average of $3.65. The price in Ottumwa is just below the statewide average standing at $3.64. According to GasBuddy.com, motorists throughout most of the country should see prices continue to decline.
