Knox County woman arrested on assault charge
A Knox City woman has been arrested on assault charges for stabbing another individual with a kitchen knife.
The Knox County Sheriff's Office with the help of the Missouri Highway Patrol responded to a report of a domestic altercation on Thursday involving Shannon L. Tarpein.
Tarpein was arrested and charged with First Degree Assault, a Class A Felony after stabbing the victim in the chest and arm with a kitchen knife.
Tarpein is now being held in the Lewis County Jail on a $100,000 cash only bond.
