KTVO news set to go away, new high-tech set coming
KIRKSVILLE, Mo. —
Things are evolving at KTVO, and all of you watching at home will be noticing big changes in the coming weeks.
If all goes according to plan, the February 7, 2018, edition of "Good Morning Heartland" will be the last time you will see our current news set.
Our entire television studio will be gutted to make way for a brand-new high-tech set.
We are also getting an all-new control room, graphics package and four robotic cameras.
In the meantime while that transformation is taking place, we will be broadcasting our local news from a temporary set that crews are setting up for us.
They are busy transforming KTVO's conference room into a small news studio.
You should see us broadcasting from our temporary set starting Wednesday with KTVO News at 5, 6 and 10.
Stay tuned for further updates as KTVO continues its evolution.
