      Legion Riders escort Unknown Soldier Tomb

      North Missouri Riders escort Traveling Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers

      Members of the North Missouri American Legion Riders Chapter 228 began a 103 mile escort on September 13, for the Traveling Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from the Iowa state line to the Gen. John J. Pershing Boyhood Home State Historic Site in Laclede.

      The Traveling Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is a three-quarters size replica of the original tomb and includes three slabs representing the crypts of World War II, Korea and Vietnam.
