Mon, 20 Jan 2014 02:26:54 GMT — On January 23rd, the Ottumwa Community Players will be presenting what may be their biggest and best play yet with the epic musical Les Miserables. 70 plus cast members will be contributing to a performance just as strong as the one OCP Board Member Megan Bell recently saw in Des Moines. "I just saw Les Miserables not too long ago at the Civic Center in Des Moines," said Bell. "And paid ten times what people are going to pay to see it here. This show is going to be just as good. Cast Members are superb. All the leads are just wonderful singers, It's a really great show." The play casted unusually early this year because of the multitude of costumes needed for each character. The play will take place at the Bridge View Center Thursday January 23rd at 7 p.m., Friday January 24th at 7 p.m., Saturday January 25th at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday January 26th at 2 p.m. The cost of tickets ranges from $15 to $25 based on seating.
