The Limelight Lounge is making its premiere Friday evening in conjunction with the Fairfield Art First Fridays.
The Limelight Lounge will feature jazz musicians and create an intimate atmosphere. There will be a full bar featuring a "Lime Martini" to go along with the theme.
â??It will be more of a nightclub atmosphere. There will be great drinks, good music, and good company,â?? says President of the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center Rob Steinberg.
The musician headlining the show is Keelan Dimick from New York City. He actually lived in Fairfield until he was 13; he is not back at his stomping grounds to perform at the Limelight Lounge.
â??Thereâ??s kind of an energy thing that gets created and we feed off each other and create some really interesting things that are completely in the moment that canâ??t be predicted or anticipated. Itâ??s just totally in the moment,â?? says Dimick.
Dimick loves to perform and spread his joy of music to others. There will be music for everyone, young and old.
The Limelight Lounge is at the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. this Friday evening. Admission is free and you must be at least 21 years of age.
