Local fraternity barbeques for a good cause

Local fraternity brothers spent Tuesday afternoon barbequing for a good cause.

The brothers of Phi Kappa Tau at Truman State University held the 19th annual 'Cookout for Kids.' The barbeque served meals to over 300 community members and fellow students.

Money raised at the cookout is now heading to the 'Serious Fun Children's Network.' The Network allows children with serious illnesses to spend a fun summer at camp with their families.

Next, the brothers of Phi Kappa Tau will be hosting a 5-K race in the fall to raise money for the same organization.
