Graduation season is underway across the Heartland and on this Sunday one school says congrats to its seniors.
Nearly 100 students of Macon County R-I High School's Class of 2013 gathered with family and the school's faculty and administrators at the middle school gym this Sunday afternoon for their Baccalaureate Service.
The class officers and a few students took the time to reflect back and joke about the good times they've had in elementary, middle, and high school.
They also got a chance to hear words of wisdom and well wishes from those who knew the class well including former Principal Dwight Tietsort and Youth Minister Christian Abernatha.
There was also a slide show presentation during the ceremony as classmates shared pictures and memories before taking the next big step in life.
The students will be having their actual graduation ceremony next week. We congratulate the Macon County R-I High School Class of 2013.
