Macon woman in custody after police find cocaine in her apartment
One person is in custody, after police were called to a Macon residence.
Sherry Speirs, 48, of Macon, Mo., is charged with felony possession of the controlled substance-cocaine, and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police were called to Speirs' residence in the Jefferson Arms Apartments in Macon on the evening of Feb. 24.
After Speirs gave permission for police to search the apartment, they discovered small amounts of marijuana, a "one hitter" pipe and a purse with baggies of a white powder, which field tested positive for cocaine.
Speirs is being held in the Randolph County Jail on an $11,000 cash only bond.
