In just a few days, hundreds of people will gather at the Macon R-1 lawn to participate in Relay for Life. From 4 p.m. to midnight, the lawn will be busy with games, music and food. â??Just bring yourself,â?? said Tiffany In-Home Service Relay for Life Member Brenda Tuttle. â??There will be lots of things. There are drawings. We'll have a silent auction. There will be kid games as well as well as some things for adults to do.â??Macon County Relay for Life Publicity Chair Modeste Ewing said teams have been preparing since January.â??It's a little too late to get a whole team together, but we are just wanting people to come out and have a good time and participate,â?? Ewing said. â??(And) see what Relay is about if you haven't been there before and maybe think about rounding one up (a team) for next year.â??The Macon Relay for Life is June 8 from 4 p.m. to midnight.
