Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment holds graduation ceremonies
With graduation season still in full swing, Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment held its graduation today.
Twenty-nine seniors proudly walked across the stage to collect their diplomas.
And what a diverse graduating class it was--ten different countries were represented in the class of 2014.
Head of MSAE, Dr. Richard Beall, said the diversity is advantageous to the graduates going forward.
"I think it's a huge blessing that our kids get that they have an opportunity to interact with other cultures while they're here in school," said Beall. "Because that is their world. Every university they go to is going to have cultural diversity. So having that opportunity here has really been a blessing and to form those tight bonds of friendship with different cultures."
Eight students from China graduated and will be attending colleges all over the United States.
Some of these schools include Tulsa, Iowa, Purdue, and Boston University.
Dr. Beall also said the graduates' knowledge of transcendental meditation will also benefit them.
