An Iowa man is in custody in connection with a threat made against a Missouri hospital.
Scott Wells, 42, of Centerville, Iowa, is charged with making a terrorist threat. He is being held in Appanoose County under a $25,000 cash only bond.
According to court records, Putnam County Hospital officials in Unionville, Mo. told authorities they had been having trouble with Wells in the past. Wells allegedly called and said he would blow the place up. Wells had also called the hospital in the past aggressively requesting medication.
Scott Wells has waived extradition and is waiting to be transported back to Missouri to face the charge.
