Fri, 15 Aug 2014 00:18:07 GMT — The Market on Main in Ottumwa received a check totaling $15,000 Thursday from Cargill of Eddyville.The funds will be used for developing and enhancing the already well-established business and its architecture.A representative from Cargill says they chose to support the market because of its focus on nutrition and offering healthy lifestyle education. He says that last year the Eddyville Cargill site donated around $450,000 to area communities. He also encourages the community to support the Market on Main as well."The Market on Main is very important and Cargill really wants to work on sustainability, having access to nutritious food and the whole idea of the Market on Main supports what's important to our communities," said Craig Amberose of Cargill.
