Mary Immaculate students say goodbye

One Heartland school is saying goodbye to students as they take the next step in their education.

Mary Immaculate Catholic School held a graduation mass Wednesday morning.

Students, teachers and faculty gathered for one last time to wish their eighth graders the best of luck.

Each of the ten graduates participated in the Mass.

The students say they will miss this school very much.

â??The good education and my friends, the teachers, and sister,â?? said Ryan Everette.

â??I'm going to miss being close to everybody. My family's been a part of it for 25 years so it's going to be hard moving one,â?? said Annie Schwend.

â??The recess. I like the recess and the food. The food was also good,â?? said Alex Hendler.

Their official graduation ceremony will be Friday.

The graduating students took a class picture with Father Chris Cordes and Principal Sister Ruth Ann Klauser after the Mass.

The students will be attending Kirksville High School this fall.
