Conservation Keepers: Gobble, Gobble:

Late November often brings to mind thoughts of Thanksgiving and turkey dinner. Many families make wild turkey an important part of their fall celebrations. Join us to learn the success story of wild turkey conservation. All ages are welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult.

Date: December 9th 6:00PM TO 9:00PM.
Location: Northeast Regional Office in Kirksville
Will include process from field to freezer: skinning, quartering and cuts of meat. Participants must be at least 14 years old. if under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. This program is offered free of charge and all equipment provided. Participants must register by calling Rob Garver at 660-785-2420.
Conservation Kids' Club: Holiday Crafts For Kids:
Location: Springfield Conservation Nature Center
Date: Tuesday, December 10, 2013, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Hey, kids! Here's your chance to make some presents out of natural and recycled items just in time for the holidays. Drop by anytime and plan to spend at least an hour during this special meeting date and time. Bring an empty toilet paper tube, a mismatched sock, a sack to carry your crafts, and lots of creativity. All other items will be provided. Ages 7-12. Please, no younger siblings and only one adult per group of kids. Registration required. Call 417-888-4237.
