      Meth bust

An overnight drug bust leads to two arrests.

The Van Buren County Sheriff's Department tells KTVO officers discovered an active meth lab when they served a search warrant overnight at an apartment building in Stockport, Iowa.

The adjoining apartments were evacuated after the discovery.

Arrested were Jason Throckmorton of Stockport and Stacy Reid of Fairfield.

Both are charged with manufacturing more than five grams of meth, a class "B" felony.

Both remain in custody in the Van Buren County Jail, each under $100,000 bond.

Van Buren County Sheriff's deputies were assisted by the Iowa Department of Narcotics investigation in the arrests.
