      Meth lab discovered; two people arrested

      A disturbance call in Lewis Co., Missouri Monday evening ended with a meth lab bust and two arrests.

      Lewis County Sheriff's Deputies were called out to investigate a disturbance complaint at the Westport Apartments in Canton, Missouri. During their investigation, deputies discovered a meth lab and items used to manufacture methamphetamine. Not only that, deputies also discovered a quantity of marijuana and paraphernalia.

      Arrested at the scene were Shandall L. Hickman, 28, of Quincy, Illinois and Kelsey A. Bugh, 19, of Canton.

      Both were taken into custody by Lewis Co. Deputies and subsequently charged with Class A Felony of manufacture/produce attempt to manufacture/produce a controlled substance in a residence with child or within 2000 feet of any school, college or school bus and the Class C Felony of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana.

      Both subjects are being held at the Lewis County Jail en lieu of $50,000 cash only bond.
