ST. LOUIS (AP) - The father of a black 18-year-old who was shot to death by a white police officer in Ferguson, Missouri, is asking for peace today, as he lays his son to rest.
Today is the funeral for Michael Brown, whose Aug. 9 death ignited daily protests, some violent.
Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon and three White House aides are expected to attend today's service in nearby St. Louis.
