After a long night of cramming for the latest exam, a good meal really hits the spot.
First-year students at A.T. Still Universityâ??s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine will get a chance to see just what kind of food the Heartland has to offer. The 15th Annual Mini Taste of Kirksville will take place on Tuesday, July 29. New students will get to sample the menu of local restaurants and will also have an opportunity to learn about ATSUâ??s various student organizations. Participants say itâ??s a great chance to meet the students and build a lasting relationship.
â??Itâ??s a wonderful relationship builder,â?? said Pagliaiâ??s Pizza employee Raquel Rhoads. â??They get to come out. They get to taste our food. They get to see the unique collection of items on our menu. I really want them to take away that weâ??re here for them. When itâ??s 1:00 in the morning and weâ??re about ready to close and they call at 12:55, we are going to be there with their pizza.â??
The event begins at 5:00 p.m. and runs until 6:30 at the Thompson Campus Center.
