Missouri 4-year-old reported missing

UPDATE: The Phelps County Sheriff's Department has cancelled the Endangered Person Advisory issued Wednesday for a missing person incident involving 4-year-old Cassandra Robertson. Cassandra and her mother have been located safely in New Mexico.


The Missouri Highway Patrol has issued an endangered person advisory for a 4-year-old girl, Cassandra Robertson, from Rolla, Mo.

Cassandra has an eye infection and is in need of treatment.

Authorities believe Cassandra is with her mother Nikie Robertson, 39, who has a history of suicidal tendencies and substance abuse.

The two may be on the way to Las Cruces, New Mexico or Colorado.

Cassandra is described as a white female, 2 feet 6 inches tall, 40 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a gray zippered shirt with a Hello Kitty logo.

Nikie is described as a white female, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 145 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.

They may be in a silver 2006 Nissan Quest with Missouri tag FG2D5J.

Anyone who sees either Cassandra or Nikie, or knows where they might be, is asked to call 911 or the Phelps County Sheriff's Department at (573)-426-3860.
